Today I set up a "ChipIn" account to assist Jerry and I with our 7, 8 and 9th adoptions all at once waiting for us in Russia and I vaguely remembered I had set up a blog at some point along the way. Boy was I surprised to see it was 2 1/2 years ago. Alot has happened since then. Andy had gotten married in July 2005 to our wonderful daughter-in-law Dawn and they now have two amazing kids. Joseph Ronald (Joey) born October 31, 2007 and our sweet little Addie Nichole February 27, 2009. William continues to keep us laughing in shock from the outrageous things that he just blurts out, Marina came home from Ukraine Dec. 2007 and now is getting married Dec. 30 2009, Mindra continues to dance, sing, and work hard in school, she is now a Junior. Ana is as silly as always with her dry sense of humor and manic obsession to have a clean living room, she is in the 8th grade and doing great. For those of you who may not now. Mindra was adopted from Romania in 1998 and Ana was adopted from Romania in 2001. Ivan is 10 in the 3rd grade and continues to surprise us with his ability to do everything with his little hands and to think just because he has a limb difference the Russian judge referred to him as an invalid. Benjamin began Kindergarten this year and is doing very well. He is so cute and soooo short still and very much a charmer to anyone who allows him to wiggle into their mind and heart. Ben and Ivan came home from Russia in 2005. Jade was adopted from China in May 2008 and continues to attempt to dethrown her Princess sister Mindy. Jade is 5 and also in Kindergarten but a lot more stubborn then Ben when it comes to learning or anything and is giving the school a run for their money. Now it is time to continue the drama that is our family and add a couple more little girls and a little boy. They are currently 3, 4 and 5 and as cute as a whip. Yes we are crazy, I will not dispute that, yes we will never be rich or even retire but we will always have our family and for us that is all the wealth we ever need or want.
We are for the first time seeking donations to help defray the cost of bringing home these wonderful, amazing kids and are including a chip in link for donations through paypal. I hope that many of you will find it in your hearts to chip in and that all of you will pass this link on to others who may be interested in learning about large family adoptions.
